The Intrism Level One Pocket Edition is a 2 inch cube that houses a little maze within its clear plastic sides. Because of its size, it is not as easy to solve as you might think. A nice addition to the Intrism line. If you have "fat fingers" order a larger kit!
I built Helix - not easy - three 90 degree twists. By contrast Icon is pretty easy - but fun to do because of the different shape. The design is clever and each piece leaves the board easiiy and without a lot of extra junk to shave off - obviously they are using excellent lasers. But as a surprise, they also included the little 2" traveling mini - cute, clever and, because it's so small, not easy to do.
Nice job Intrism!!!
Having made Helix, Icon was easy. It is a marvel of engineering. The pieces snap out from their boards with very little attachment "clean-up" necessary. (you must be using top-of-the-line lasers to achieve these very precise, clean cuts. You use the pieces in order and the instructions are very clear. My only very minor critique would be that after you make the first assembly and put it aside, you then start the second assembly but it was not clear that you then combine the two to start making the finished product. Once you've done the procedure once it is obvious how it works - but a short sentence like: "Combine the two assemblies". would have saved about 30 seconds of thought.
But, overall, your products are clever and great fun to put together. By the way, the little traveling mini gift was also clever, cute and hard to solve (because it's so small!)
Very challenging and fun cube. Instructions were easy to follow, but sometimes made you maneuver pieces into awkward angles. Some pieces didn’t stick together well and kept sliding off. Had to use tape to keep them in place. Overall, really solid cube with great gameplay. Solving it definitely takes a long time which is awesome!
Was sent as a gift. Response was, "Looks really cool. I can't wait to put it together.
