How long does it take to build?

Intrism Icon takes around 2-4 hours for most people to assemble. Experience builders can usually assemble it in less time.

What is the story behind the name "Icon"

We wanted to make a product inspired by our logo (or, "icon") because we love that the isometric view of a cube is a perfect hexagon. Due to this unique shape and the angles it creates, the building process of Icon is unlike any of our other models.

What's the difference between Intrism Icon and the other models?

Intrism Icon is our first non-cube design. It is similar to Level One in that the marble cannot fall off the track, but this time the marble can come completely out of the maze. It's incredibly satisfying to solve it!

Additionally, Intrism Icon is our first model that can be displayed on the wall. The wood tones and aesthetic of the model really make it pop in any room.

Can you disassemble and assemble the puzzle again?

Intrism puzzles are designed to be assembled once, but you can play the maze endlessly.

How hard is the maze to solve?

Intrism Icon is more difficult than the size of it may lead you to believe. Because the marble passes between two layers, it introduces an entirely new level of challege compared to a single layer design. Most people usually solve the maze between 10 minutes and an hour.

Can the marble fall off the track?

Intrism Icon is designed so the marble cannot fall off the track, but it does come out of the maze entirely when solved from the center outward.

When the marble is in the center, there is no risk of it falling out of the maze.

Can you stain or varnish the wood?

Yes & yes! Adding your own pop of color truly makes it one-of-a-kind. We don't recommend using paint which could increase the thickness of the pieces, but acrylic markers work great.

Excellent gift!

I have a teenager who loves puzzle boxes and building things. This made him so happy to build and mess with. It's a little different in style than others he'd built, which made it more interesting and fun.

Product arrived fast with no problems. Super fun to put together and looks amazing!

Hard fits

This was a hard fitting puzzle. The slots should be cut slightly larger to prevent pinching and breaking of the pieces. I had to glue several pieces. The age should be 15 and up. A 10 year old will break a lot of the small pieces.

An engineer’s dream

I got this for my boyfriend and he loved the process. He said you’re basically getting two puzzles in one, putting it together and solving it after. It’s well-constructed and a very neat thing to have around on display.

Level one review

Received all four puzzle as a Christmas gift and have just completed the simplest one—level one. My seven-year-old granddaughter painted the pieces and chose the six color option. She was amazed when we assembled it and each face was a particular color—very cool. My only disappointment was when my four year-old and seven-year-old tried to play the puzzle it fell on the rug and all six plastic panels separated. I think I’m going to have to put a spot of glue on all of the pieces except for one so I can get inside if necessary. The assembly was a breeze since I’ve done a number of marble runs, including the galaxy marble run, which is probably one of the harder ones made— looking forward to constructing the next three!!

Better than electronics

I bought these for my son. We had fun putting this together. Now for the fun part of playing with it! Clean fun and no screens to rot your brain!

So cute! Perfect for stocking stuffer/gift exchange

This was the perfect little puzzle to round out a gift I put together for a family gift exchange. It would also make a great stocking stuffer. My family loved the challenge of both putting it together and solving it!

I absolutely love it! I have to set time limits on how much time I want to spend putting it together at night or I'll be up all night! Very fun and addictive.

Level One - Completed!

I loved it! Once I began I knew I would not stop. I got through it much faster than expected by following the instructions for each step. It was very satisfying to complete it and then be able to display it. That was my trial. I also purchased the Pro and I’m worried that once I start I will not want to quit until I complete that one. I’m a 60+ year old and I may be a bit heavy handed. I was concerned about breaking the pieces when trying to fit them together a few times. Waiting to hear and feel the snap when the part is in place. No accidents occurred thankfully. Looking forward to the Pro next!

Enjoyed assembling it

I enjoyed this puzzle, it is the only one I have done yet. It doesn't look very functional as far as moving the ball around -- maybe I put a piece or two backwards or something. Hope the others come out better.

Fun to put together and a challenge to solve. Worth every penny
