Fun to build, took about 2hours for these 71 year old fingers. I haven't solved the puzzle yet, but it looks cool on my desk!
It is very very small. The pieces are not that easy to maneuver but a steady hand helps. The instruction are easy to read and the final product is enjoyable.
The Intrism Level One Pocket Edition is a great little puzzle. I found the puzzle easy to build with the clear instructions provided. The components are of excellent quality and I am sure they will last for many many years. This puzzles is essentially the same as the Level One puzzle, but in a convenient take it with you size. These puzzles are fun to build, fun to solve the maze, and make great display pieces. I own every Intrism puzzle and can highly recommend any of them.
You did not tell me in the instructions that I would need twizzlers and needle nose pliers because I have fat fingers or the wifes Emory board instead of using your sand paper which worked better the of the first three went well the big one is coming soon had a blast so far when do you come out with any new ones did not find any kind of catalog it was al fun
The puzzle is really fun and cool, but there are a few things I just cannot look past.
Main draw-back is the stand.
The stand feels like trying to balance an elephant on a beach ball, it only holds a VERY SMALL corner making it extremely easy to fall off.
I am writing this review after putting the puzzle back on the stand, only for it to fall off and break open literally 2 inches above the table.
I am truly disappointed in the plexi glass frame.
Putting it together feels like it can fall apart in any moment, and once finished certainly feels no better.
There are many parts that I thought were very cool and well thought out.
The wood pieces were good quality and I had no breaks at any point.
With all that being said, it is far too much of a delicate decoration for the price.
I would be scared to let someone try it after how easily I broke it just putting it down.
On a side note,
It took about 5-6 hrs from start to finish, maybe a 12 hr build time for a 12 year old.
