Intrism Level One proves that great things can come in a deceptively small box.

 

Our smallest marble maze yet, Intrism Level One is a great option for newcomers to laser-cut build kits, or for those who just can't seem to get enough. Put it together yourself, either with the included assembly guide, or if you're up for the challenge, try to build it without the instructions. Once assembled, your goal is to navigate the marble through the wooden maze's twists, turns, and tunnels to the finish line.  Memory is the name of the game here. You’ll need to track where you’ve been to plot your path to the other side. Unlike our original series, the marble cannot fall off the tracks of Level One, so the challenge lies solely in the complexities of the labyrinth. Can you get to the finish line and back?

Your questions, answered.

How long does it take to build?

Level One is designed to have three levels of assembly difficulty (easy, medium, and hard). Depending on your expierence and the difficulty level you select, it can take from 30 minutes to several hours to complete.

Can you stain or varnish the wood?

Yes & yes! Adding your own pop of color truly makes it one-of-a-kind. We don't recommend using paint which could increase the thickness of the pieces.

What's the difference between Level One and Intrism Pro & Mini?

Level One introduces new concepts that are not present in our Original Series (Intrism Pro and Mini).

Level One is designed to be able to be put together with or without the assembly guide.

Additionally, the maze is designed so that the marble will not fall off the track during play, requiring players to concentrate on finding the route to the finish line rather than also relying on dexterity.

Can you disassemble and assemble the puzzle again?

Intrism puzzles are designed to be assembled once, but you can play the maze endlessly.

How hard is the maze to solve?

Level One has three levels of difficutly to solve. Depending on which option you pick, the maze can be easy or a challenge to solve.

Can the marble fall off the track?

Level One is designed so the marble cannot fall off the track.

Kyle always delivers

Kyle Vandeveer, the creator of Intrism, has done it again , this time with a design that is still visually intriguing and fun to play, but with a new dynamic: one that can be built by virtually anyone. Kyle's Level One design is the easiest to assemble and play, so it is appropriate for beginners and the young alike. This is a good place to start if you don’t have the patience yet to tackle his more involved projects. Once you get your feet wet with Level One, you will understand the intricacies of the others, and build confidence to take them on.

Fun puzzle

This was a fun puzzle. The day I got it I put it together. It was easy to follow the directions and only took 2 hours. It was challenging to make the marble go through the maze but it was worth it.

“You can do it”

They say that you should try new things to keep your mind sharp.
Intrism definitely filled that challenge!
The kits are amazing. Hard to believe that no tools are need to assemble.
At times I would disconnect parts as added new ones but was able to reconnect them all.
The plastic cases are a little wonky. I ended up gluing the joints to secure them.
I now have my 2 Intrism proudly displayed.
So…
Even a Septuagenarian can complete this project 👍
