I received the Intrism mini as a Christmas gift. I wasn’t sure what I was getting into but as the pieces started forming I started to feel like a toy maker tinkering away. I have two bits of advice if you are thinking of buying one. Don’t pull out all the pieces like I did and struggle to find pieces. Secondly, while you can use some oomph to put the pieces in, a little too much and pieces can break. If that happens, just use this site and select the broken piece and they will send a replacement in a jiffy.. I truly give the experience 4.75/5.
I have put together intermediate wooden models (marble runs, music box carousels etc) and Lego intermediate adult models My husband got me the Intrism Pro and I wanted to see what it was like, so I bought the two less complex ones to try. I was impressed with the weight of the wood and how well they fit together solidly I had fun with this first one. It will be something I will leave out for “guests”. I like that you gave choices as how to put together. The only comment to improve that I would make ( ands it’s so minor I hate to mention) is maybe put a “ starter” on the film to help take the coating off the acrylic sheets. It took a little to get it started. All in all, I will get the complete set.
Sometimes you just need to yell at the marble falling precariously, to avoid screaming at your coworkers.
I enjoyed trying to make this. I thought I was doing everything right but when I assembled the last 2 big pieces it didn’t fit and was essentially useless. I’m really not sure what happened but it was a bummer.
I received this product from my wife. The craftsmanship is amazing. Putting this puzzle together, immerse me in a world of tranquility and peace. This puzzle became my baby and I couldn’t wait till I completed it. It totally helped me focus on the detail of putting each piece in place. It was put together so well that the pieces fell in place easily. i’m 64 years old and this was so much fun. I can’t wait to purchase another. I highly recommend it.
I got this for my boyfriend and he loved the process. He said you’re basically getting two puzzles in one, putting it together and solving it after. It’s well-constructed and a very neat thing to have around on display.
It is very durable even through repeated play. It was the right level of challenge for my 10 year old son (he’s a puzzle expert so older kids would enjoy it too!) It was different from Perplexus brand puzzles and brought a new challenge to him.
I’ve built numerous wooden puzzles, but this one is far more fun and rewarding. Laser work is flawless, and absolutely no glue is required. Tip: using beeswax on joints really eases construction. Thanks for a superior product!!
