Not for the weak if you want to play with it. A very cool centerpiece on my table.
What a fun little project. It took perhaps twenty minutes to put together. This would make a great swag-bag insert for kids and conferences alike!

Helix is a magnificent piece of engineering work - it is not hard to build if you work carefully and follow the instructions precisely. I did tint the boards before I started to remove the pieces and it all came out wonderfully. Now all I have to do is solve the darn thing. I did encounter one difficulty - the case is loose around the Helix, but I took care of that by running a bead of glue along each edge to hold it together. Even if I never solve the maze I truly have a display-worthy work of art.

I never out grew Lego. Jigsaw puzzles. Putting the Intrism Pro together was so much fun. I intentionally had to pace myself.
The instructions were good, not great, but good. You may need to really focus on the surrounding pieces on some of them. It was the depth perception on some of them that was tricky. Also the only video is outdated for the current version of the printed instructions. The step #s didnt align. Also not a big deal.
The pieces were all laser cut well. I didnt need the sandpaper as all. Also didnt have any broken wood pieces. One of the acrylic panels was broken on arrival, but Intrism send out a replacement.
I am sad that its together. I wish it were bigger, so it would take longer to put together. Now I move onto the excited of trying to solve the maze. I anticipate that taking some time, it seems tricky.

Like all of Kyle’s Intrism designs, this simple version is fun to assemble and play. The Level One Pocket Edition is not complex or involved like his major designs, but it is not meant to be. Enjoy this little addition to your collection, as I do.
