My grandson, recepient, is looking forward to start this project after he completeds others already in works.
I really enjoy assembly projects, and this one was simply amazing. Although I did have a few hiccups along the way, the assembly instructions were easy enough to follow. It was sometimes a challenge to get some of the pieces to engage properly and they didn't always "click" into place, but I managed to complete the project successfully. I wanted to keep going but restricted myself to 2 to 3 pages per day.
I had to marvel at the genius and precision of the maze design and how the pieces were laid out on each board. I love the smell of the baltic birch wood.
I have to admit, it was easier to assemble this maze than to work it. I try it out every day and am gradually getting better at navigating that small black ball!
When not in use, it sits atop my file cabinet where it draws the attention of curious onlookers.
I really enjoyed assembling this maze and look forward to purchasing a different one!
This was the first Intrism kit that did what it was supposed to do. Every piece (except for two) snapped into place, and those two only required minor sanding. I really enjoyed this project. My other two kits (Pro and Level One required almost every piece to be sanded. I was able to complete Level One, but gave up on the Pro (it was my first project).) I hope my next project if I buy one goes as good as the Icon did.
I purchased this as a gift for a friend that loves to do puzzles. He enjoyed the challenge of putting it together and then found the 3d maze to be challenging but rewards.
Some parts I couldn't get together 100% so the ball doesn't flow all the way, but it was fun to put together and I'm going to try another one to see if if was me or the product. Had a ton of fun doing it.
Is hard to find a gift for teenagers in these days, and this one was amazing… put it together and then resolve it… takes a while… but they did it. and looks nice in their rooms. Now they asking for the next level… looks like you gain a futuro client ;-) highly recommend
